Kink CST forks (CST being short for CAST) aren't your average forks. The first standout feature on these forks are the dropouts which are investment cast, allowing for a design that greatly increases the strength without adding too much weight or bulk. These dropouts are all about putting the material where you need it, and not where you don't. In addition to the dropouts, the forks feature tapered and internally butted fork legs; a one-piece, fully CNC-machined steerer tube; fork blade ends relieved for peg clearance; and flush inner fork legs for great hub guard clearance. A custom-formed fork leg profile also improves fork leg and steerer tube junction strength by adding increased welding surface. TECH SPECS - Fork Height: 315mm - Steerer Tube: 165mm - Length Dropout: 28mm - Dropout Slot: 3/8" (10mm) - Bearing Race: Integrated Campy Spec - Compression Bolt Thread: M24×1.5mm - Compression Bolt Hex: 7075-T6 3/8" Ratchet and 6mm - Tubing Material: 100% 4130 Chromoly Steel - Heat Treatment: TruTherm Post-weld Heat Treated - Particulars: Tapered Fork Legs with Internal Butting - 6mm Investment Cast Dropouts - Flush Dropout and Leg Junction for Hub Guard Clearance - Weight: 34.8oz (Including Fork Bolt)
Kink Foundation II forks are a traditional style fork that still utilizes the latest technologies and materials available. Available in two different offsets to suit any riding style, the 26mm offset dropouts offer a quicker more responsive feel while the 32mm offset provides a more classic and stable ride. The investment cast fork leg ends provide a clean and smooth look, while the laser-cut and CNC'd dropouts provide the classic shape and provide ample strength. The tapered outer profile and internally butted fork legs keep the strength and weight right where they should be. A one-piece fully CNC-machined steerer tube with integrated bearing race helps keep things a little bit simpler too. TECH SPECS - Fork Height: 315mm - Steerer Tube Length: 165mm - Dropout Offset: 26mm or 32mm - Dropout Slot: 3/8" (10mm) - Bearing Race: Integrated Campy Spec - Compression Bolt Thread: M24×1.5mm - Compression Bolt Hex: 7075-T6 3/8" Ratchet and 6mm Allen Key - Tubing Material: 100% 4130 Chromoly Steel - Heat Treatment: TruTherm Post-weld Heat Treated - Particulars: Tapered Fork Legs with Internal Butting - 4mm Laser-Cut Dropouts - Weight: 34.8oz (Including Fork Bolt)
Kink Stoic forks put the focus on strength first and foremost while maintaining a great aesthetic and super modern geometry. The custom-formed, tapered, and ovalized fork legs create additional hub guard clearance while providing a ton of stiffness. Internally butted tubing adds all the strength where it's needed, while keeping everything at a reasonable weight, both in the fork legs and steerer tube. The investment cast fork leg ends feature clean, debossed K-Brick logos in the back and a generous radius in the front for plenty of peg clearance. TECH SPECS - Fork Height: 316mm - Steerer Tube Length: 165mm - Dropout Offset: 15mm or 20mm - Dropout Slot: 10mm (3/8") - Dropout Thickness: 5mm Laser-Cut - Bearing Race: Integrated - Compression Bolt Thread: M24×1.5mm - Compression Bolt Hex: 7075-T6 3/8" Ratchet and 6mm Allen Key - Tubing Material: 100% 4130 Chromoly Steel - Fork Leg: Tapered Oval with Internal Butting - Fork Leg Ends: Investment Cast with K-Brick Logo - Heat Treatment: TruTherm Post-weld Heat Treated - Weight: 34.1oz (Including Fork Bolt)
The Kink Vogue forks check all the boxes; strength, feel, and aesthetics. The fork legs feature a custom oval tube profile, welded up to a fully CNC’d steerer tube with internal butting to add strength where it’s needed. The investment cast dropouts are one single piece making them super strong and feature interior knurling to keep your wheel and plastic hub guards in place. The 25mm offset gives a responsive feel, without being too short or too raked out. Kink Vogue forks also feature steerer tube cut lines for those riders wanting to trim down their steerer, and the fork legs are designed to fit all modern tire widths up to 2.55”.
The Process IC Fork features fully heat-treated chromoly tubing throughout with a 1pc. machined steerer tube with integrated bearing race for use with all 45×45 headsets and a 7000 series alloy compression bolt. Sure, there are plenty of lightweight XC forks out there, but racing demands so much more. Nimble handling, gram-obsessed weight, buttery damping—combined, they all make the difference between a good fork and a great fork. And with this in mind, the all-new RockShox SID World Cup Brain fork has been completely redesigned to meet the demands of XC racing, and hyperbole aside, we can confidently say that it sets the bar for race-worthy performance. The all-new Brain damper uses position sensitive technology for better chassis balance and traction. It does this while retaining the ability to separate rider input from bump events on the trail—just some of the incredible stuff that Brain is known for. The new technology can now remain active during the initial 25mm of travel, and this creates a much more balanced riding position and supple front-end feel. In turn, this goes a long way in reducing rider fatigue. And although the fork feels more active initially, as soon as you standup to get on the gas, the forward shift in weight naturally compresses the fork into the platform. So yeah, you'll feel well supported and efficient during hard sprint efforts. Incredibly, Brain does all this while keeping you in control and riding smooth on rough terrain without any need for extra cables and lockout levers on the handlebars. The World Cup Brain edition of the SID is not just a slight upgrade over the RLC and XX models, either. Along with the integrated Brain technology, it utilizes a carbon fiber steerer and crown, which reduce weight by over 100 grams and increases the overall stiffness. Also adding to the stiffness of is the short-travel-specific design. Leaving the 120-millimeter segment to the trail category, RockShox’s engineers were able to focus on the 80- to 100-millimeter travel range, and therefore develop lighter and stiffer uppers and air shafts. This new design, along with SRAM's Torque Caps (they create an enhanced interface between the hub and fork dropout), Power Bulge technology that reinforces the lowers, and 110-millimeter Boost spacing, keeps torsional stiffness high, allowing you to point-and-shoot while descending. Last, but certainly not least, on the feature spec is the Solo Air spring that’s customizable with RockShox’s Bottomless Tokens. The Solo Air spring lets you adjust pressure with a single Schrader valve that controls the pressure in both the positive and negative air chambers, making adjustments to pressure simple and intuitive. To customize ramp-up preference, RockShox’s Bottomless Tokens can be added to create a suspension curve that’s custom to your preferences. - Tapered Full Carbon Steerer tube - Top-adjust Brain damper w/ Position Sensitive technology - 110mm spacing with Torque Cap compatibility - 100mm of travel
