The Javalin hub also has a steel bearing contact on the cone spacers to eliminate any binding over time. The Javelin is laced to the 7005 aluminum Animal RS rim with welded seam, sidewalls have a short vertical section enough for a braking surface, then an angled portion, spoke holes are also drilled for traditional lacing.

Two pads, one retraction spring and a mounting bolt are included (enough for one brake) in each pad set. And, choose an aluminum backing plate if you're really counting the grams.
